Specification Selection of FRP Gratings

There are many specifications and models of FRP grating, how to choose one that suits you? This needs to be considered from the three major aspects of load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance requirements and use environment. 

The thickness of FRP grating is commonly used as 25, 38, 50, 65mm. The load-bearing weight of gratings with different specifications and performances is different.  

In our practical application, we should select gratings according to the load-bearing requirements. FRP gratings with insufficient load will cause gratings to break, damage even to accident in use. 

FRP gratings with good acid and alkali resistance should be used in places with strong corrosiveness.

FRP gratings with UV resistance should be used in outdoor areas exposed to sunlight for a long time, otherwise it will change color.

FRP covered gratings are not suitable for large size use, because too large size will affect the flatness of the cover plate and normal use, so they need to be cut when they are put into use. When cutting, it should be noted that the cutting surface of FRP covered gratings should be consistent with the transverse support surface.
