How to distinguish the good from the bad fiberglass grating
Currently, fiberglass gratings are popular in the domestic market, while there are some manufacturers on the fiery market who use some relatively low raw materials to lower their cost. However, since consumers do not know the trick and don’t know how to distinguish good quality gratings from the bad fiberglass gratings?
In fact, when we judge the quality of a product, we must first judge it by its raw materials, and then judge the product.
Raw materials: many consumers are not sure about the choice of raw materials for fiberglass gratings. The main raw materials for fiberglass gratings are resin and fiber, filler and pigment. The color of a good resin is usually transparent without sediment, and the color of a bad resin is usually darker. Good fiberglass is an innocent alkaline-free roving E. The poor filler is calcium powder. Calcium powder products have poor strength and easily crack when it is applied. Good filler should be aluminum hydroxide powder. Products made of good fillers have better strength.
Good resin is usually transparent. Grating made of this resin is generally relatively smooth. If you use a low resin, the product will be darker, on the surface has more air holes. The main disadvantage is that it will break easily, and the strength and toughness are bad.
You can also compare the finished product to distinguish a good grating from a bad grating: the appearance of a good fiberglass grating without obvious cracks, few or no air pores and the color is relatively clean and the service life is relatively long. However, the worst products have obvious cracks in appearance, many pores, poor color and, of course, the service life is shorter.
