Grp Grid Walkway

GRP grid walkway is a new type of composite material with spaces. The main raw materials of the GRP grid walkway are resin, glass fiber and filler. The surface of the GRP grid walkway is anti-skid, making it comfortable for people to walk on and avoid sticking or scratching. Due to GRP grid walkway can effectively prevent corrosion, especially in the highly corrosive chemical industry, the grating can be used as the walkway of operating platform. The most common colors for grp grid walkway are gray, green and yellow (other colors can be customized according to customer requirements).

GRP Grid Walkway Applications

Due to its outstanding corrosion resistance and aging resistance, it can be used in some harsh environments, and is widely used in factories such as chemical plants, electroplating plants, and sewage treatment plants.

How Is The Anti-Slip Ability Of The GRP Grid Walkway Achieved? 

1. Concave Sueface GRP Grid Walkway (naturally formed)

In the process of making grating, workers need to sand manually, so one side (the bottom) of the grating is flat, and the other side is the crescent shape caused by squeezing. When the grating is used in the walkway of the operating platform, the concave sueface can have anti-skid effect.

2. Sand Surface GRP Grid Walkway

The sand-coated FRP grating is made by adding quartz sand into the process of FRP grating production. The sand is deeply embedded in the grille. The anti-slip wear resistance is better than the concave FRP grating. It is applied to oil stains, slope environments or high occasions for anti-slip maintenance needs.

3. Smooth Surface (surface smoothing) GRP Grid Walkway

Smooth surface GRP grid walkway is not slip resistant and is generally used for decoration and other applications where a smooth finish is required.
