FRP Molded Grating

FRP Molded Grating is made with fibreglass as it’s reinforcement mixed with unsaturated polyester resin as the matrix. The resin is poured into a mold systematically with the fibreglass roving layer after layer to produce the desired thickness.

The Materials Of FRP Molded Grating

FRP molded grating is available in a variety of resins, Mach’s offers ECR glass fibers and four kinds of resin for choice.

Orthophthalic (Ortho), Isophthalic(ISO), Vinylester(VE) and Phenolic Resin.

FRP molded grating has standard and custom colors, depths, panel sizes and mesh sizes. Surface options include a concave(meniscus) or integrally applied grit top, both of which offer superior slip resistant footing.

FRP molded grating is applied in place of traditional materials for a FRP solution that fits a wide range of applications and environments.

Installation Of FRP Grating

1. When installing the FRPgrating pattern cover, the first step is to measure and cut the material. There must be enough gap between the edge and the place of installation. Cutting work is relatively simple, only simple manual cutting tools or small electric cutting tools can be used for cutting.

2. When installing, it is necessary to make sure that the glass fiber reinforced plastic grating pattern cover should be padded truly.

3. The two cover panels are connected with each other by fiberglass reinforced plastic fasteners and connectors of the same material.

4. If there is a requirement for the sealing of the cover plate, it is necessary to use the corresponding adhesive in conjunction with the use.

5. In the process of installation, it is necessary to prevent rolling of body and vehicle.            6. Attention should be paid to the size of span and the number of cross braces, which should be based on the overall stability.

Maintenance work is very simple, only simple regular maintenance can be done, usually for some cleaning work.
